The Digilent ARTY-Z7 board has a JTAG interface that allows you to program and debug the onboard FPGA and the processor subsystem.

This board adapts from the ARM 20 JTAG connector to Digilent’s JTAG connector on the ARTY-Z7 board, which is a 6-pin header J15 located on the backside of the board. The JTAG port supports both JTAG and Serial Wire Debug (SWD) modes, which allow you to communicate with the onboard devices.
